Sept 23 – 26 2019: The Federal Identity Forum & Exposition (FedID) provides an immersive environment where identity professionals from the federal government, private sector and academia can dedicate three days to strategic planning, information sharing, needs analysis, collaboration and relationship building. FedID venues are chosen to support this environment and enable concurrent presentation tracks, workshops and exhibition space.

Already the most important and highly attended government identity event in North America, FedID will set new standards in delivery of education in sessions and solutions in the exhibit hall.

On Wednesday, September 25, 2019: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM, A4SAFE’s Kamran Atri is scheduled to speak with Ms. Kathy DeBolt (Moderator), Deputy Director, TCM Terrestrial and Identity, TRADOC Capabilities Manager for Terrestrial and Identity, and William Graves (Speaker), Chief Engineer for PM DoD Biometrics within the Program Executive Office for Intelligence, Electronic Warfare & Sensors (IEW&S).

Sept 25-27 2018: The U.S. Government has identified preeminent challenges facing biometric programs, including maximizing mobile and multi-modal authentication technology to expand reach and enable flexibility while maintaining speed and accuracy guidelines. Additionally, the management and development of more efficient and effective large-scale operational capabilities and the establishment of standards for plug-and-play performance and system interoperability will inform our discussion throughout the event.

This three day summit will bring together an audience comprised of 120+ Secretaries, Directors of Security Agencies, Heads of Acquisition, Biometric Program Managers and Industry Executives from the U.S. and regional partners for critical discussions on multimodal biometrics, the development of “touchless” sensing technology, securing the borders with innovative technology, information data accessibility and storage, investing in biometric solutions and strengthening national preparedness and resilience.

Sept 19 – 22 2016: A4SAFE’s Kamran Atri, presents the NIEM Biometrics Domain overview and facilitates NIEM technical sessions. This training session will include additional technical material as well as a brief examination and demonstration of tools used to search attributes and work with NIEM.

NIEM Program Office Announces NBAC Leadership Change and appoints A4SAFE’s Kamran Atri as the new NBAC Co-Chair

Oct 2016: The National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) Program Management Office is pleased to announce leadership changes for the NIEM Business Architecture Committee (NBAC), which maintains NIEM’s business architecture and requirements. NIEM is fortunate to welcome another longtime NIEM expert and advocate as NBAC’s new co-chair. Effective with the start of Fiscal Year 2017, Kamran Atri is the committee’s new co-chair, serving alongside Ryan Schultz of DoD Joint Staff J6.

Kamran Atri, is a NIEM enterprise architecture and data management subject matter expert. In his more than 13 years as an active NIEM advocate, Kamran has established a track record of championing and enhancing NIEM. He played an integral role in creating NIEM Cyber Domain, NIEM Biometrics Domain and NIEM Emergency Management Domain, as well as the business practices and operational processes that empower these and many other NIEM Domains. He has helped leverage the NIEM.gov GitHub site for public review of Federal Grants data unified Conceptual Data Model and has been a tireless supporter of NIEM outreach efforts. Kamran will continue to co-chair NIEM’s International Tiger Team, in addition to his NBAC role.
